JOY CIRCLE

Volunteer led activity program for adults with mild to medium cognitive decline

Four churches in the Stuart Circle area are sponsoring the Joy Circle, a program where people with mild to moderate cognitive decline can come for fun activities with volunteers ('Buddies") for two hours while their care givers participate in a support group .  Our Joy Circle will meet once a week but volunteers will have the opportunity to choose which dates they can help through a sign up process.  Volunteers do not have to be affiliated with one of the four churches.

To become a volunteer you must go to a volunteer training session

October 29, 1:00 - 4:00 PM at First English Lutheran, 1603 Monument Ave.

After training, you will be able to sign up through the organization for dates you will be available.

The Joy Circle program is part of the Circle Center RVA program
